The Cheyenne County Extension Office has officially kicked off their monthly 4-H workshops! In the month of November, 11 youth attended a pumpkin centerpiece workshop where they learned how to match fabric with complementary accents to create a unique centerpiece to take home and they also made an electrical circuit holiday card. Each month the Extension Office plans to hold a workshop where 4-H youth can learn new skills and create a project that can be exhibited at the Cheyenne County Fair in July. Some upcoming workshop ideas include sewing, rocketry and epoxy projects. If you or your child is interested in learning more about the 4-H program please stop by the Extension Office at 920 Jackson Street or call the office at (308) 254-4455 to talk with Lynn or Laura. The new 4-H year has started and many clubs are beginning to make their annual plans.
