Bulldogs Overpower Patriots, 72-33

Peetz's Bulldog Football team traveled to Seibert for a match up with the Hi-Plains Patriots, and used a big first half to overpower the Patriots, taking home a 72-to-33 victory to move to 2-and-5 on the season.

Peetz used a big first half where they scored 26 points in the first quarter and 20 points in the second quarter to build a 46-to-26 halftime lead, then put away the Patriots by scoring 26 more points in the third quarter while shutting out Hi-Plains in the period en route to a 72-to-33 victory.

Freshman quarterback Rhyder Bane had an outstanding game, going 3-for-5 passing for 64 yards and two touchdowns and rushing 15 times for 216 yards and four touchdowns in the win. Sophomore Colton Howell threw one pass, a 43 yard completion for a touchdown. Howell also had 78 yards rushing and two touchdowns on seven carries. Junior Noah Naegele had 13 tackles and recovered a fumble.

Peetz closes out their season against on the road against the 3-and-5 Weldon Valley Warriors on Friday.
