Creek Valley's Lady Storm Volleyball team, after a three match win-streak to open September, has come up empty during the rest of the month. This trend continued on Thursday with 3-to-0 straight set loss to Medicine Valley, 25-to-20, 25-to-20 and 25-to-11.
The Lady Storm traveled to Kimball on Monday to match up agaisnt the winless Lady Longhorns, and settled in for a battle. After dropping the first set 25-to-22 and the second set 25-to-21, Creek Valley broke through with a 25-to-21 third set victory. But they could not sustain their momentum, and Kimball was able to put away the match with a 25-to-23 set four victory to earn their first win of the season.
Creek Valley moves to 3-and-13 on the year and travels to Harrisburg on Friday to match up against Banner County.
