Peetz's Bulldog Football team hosted North Park on Friday, and a fast start by the visitors could not be overcome by the Bulldogs, and they dropped their third straight game by a final score of 55-to-14.
North Park fired on all cylinders on offense to start the game, with two touchdowns in the first period followed by three touchdowns in the second quarter while shutting down the Bulldog attack, and took a 33-to-0 lead into the halftime break. Peetz finally broke through with a touchdown in the third quarter, and then added a second touchdown in the fourth quarter, but it was far too little to stop the Wildcats who put up 22 more points in the second half.
The Peetz quarterbacks combined for 5 completions on 16 attempts for 30 yards on the night. Freshman Rhyder Bane rushed 9 times for 72 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Bulldogs' offense.
Peetz next hosts Fleming on Saturday afternoon for their Homecoming game. Kick off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
