“For he who sows to his flesh, will, of the flesh, reap corruption, but he who sows to his spirit will, of the Spirit, reap everlasting life.” Galatians 6:8 “He who rules his spirit is [mightier] than he who takes a city”. Proverbs 16:32
Culture, no matter where one lives in the world, is learned behavior. Human beings grow physically, psychologically, intellectually, emotionally (as in coping devices), socially and spiritually (p.p.i.e.s.s.). We addressed the Will, Emotions and Thoughts God gives and have surrendered Coulda, Oughta, Woulda and Shoulda legalities of the devil’s design. There, between the physical and spiritual persons (p.i.e.s.) is a ‘soulish realm’ or ‘flesh’ ’ indicating that culture (learned response) rules out thinking, not a God centered spirit.
The human body was designed by God to heal itself and last for 120 years, at minimum. Genesis 6:3 According to Psalm 91, we don’t have to be sick to die and we don’t have to die until we’re satisfied and have finished our race with joy.
Dr. Don Colbert, renowned medical doctor, (drcolbert.com), graduate of Oral Roberts University, sets up 7 pillars for health: Good water, living food, good exercise, sound sleep, supplements, detoxification, coping with stress. He brings forward the concept that food should be used as a medicine. Because our blood types are different, each body’s nourishment will be different. Here’s how to tell:
Take the food, supplement or medication in the dominate hand and hold it, with both hands over the breast bone, feet together, eyes closed. In a few seconds, your body starts to move. Leaning forward, the item is good for your body. Strong positive reaction indicates strong need. Reeling suddenly backward is sure evidence it is not good for you. With practice you’ll learn the rhythms of your body, what to eat or drink, any hour of the day or night. And, it will assure that your body gets the nutrition it needs from food, so it will not have to develop a spare tire for the storage of useless calories as fat.
Exercise builds muscles. The heart is one of them. Brisk walking or swimming will ‘stir up’ the system to properly eliminate toxins. Lymph glands, spleen, liver, gall bladder, pancreas and all inward vital organs benefit. Just 20 minutes of cardio-vascular exercise, every day, will spur your immune system, build bones, expand lungs, control blood pressure and blood sugar levels, which will keep the digestive system perking along as designed. The digestive system is one big nervous system to keep you physically alert and well.
The best food is fresh cooked by you. If it comes through the car window it is not food. Frozen fruits and vegetables are better than anything canned. Meat and seafood must be properly prepared, desserts occasional. “You shall serve the Lord your God and He will bless your bread and your water, and [He] will take sickness away from the midst of you.” Exodus 23:25
