Peetz's Bulldog Football team hosted 2021 State Champion Cheyenne Wells on Friday night, and the Tigers proved to be too much for the Bulldogs to handle. After ripping off 22 unanswered points in the first quarter, the Tigers continued to score in the second quarter while completely shutting down the Bulldog offense. After building a 46-to-0 lead at the half, the Tigers added 16 more points in the fourth quarter to earn the 62-to-8 win.
Peetz sophomore Colton Howell scored the lone touchdown for Peetz in the fourth quarter well after the game had been decided, and it was followed by ant extra point kick by junior Wyatt Talhelm for two points to account for the Peetz scoring. With the loss, the Bulldogs fall to 1-and-2 on the year. Peetz's next game is at home against North Park on September 23.
