Creek Valley's Storm Football team is searching for their first win, and Thursday's home contest against the Crawford Rams seemed to be the chance the young Storm team needed. After a 91-to-6 loss to Potter-Dix the previous week, hopes were high that Creek Valley could give the struggling Rams a good contest and come away with a win. Those hopes were dashed when the Rams put up 43 points in the second quarter and stopped the Creek Valley offense cold on their way to an 80-to-7 victory. The Rams had opened an 18-to-0 lead in the first quarter, but all hopes of a comeback by Creek Valley were dashed by the second quarter scoring outburst. Creek Valley travels to Bartley to match up against the 1-and-1 Southwest Roughriders on Thursday September 15. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
