What Are You Seeking?

What do we seek in Life?

Some seek wealth, some good health some are looking for Peace.

The Word seek has several definitions, To search out, to look for, to go searching for, or to seek to find.

The best way I have found is to Seek after GOD. Why? First GOD wants to be found, in Matt 7:7 the Word of GOD states seek and you will find. So how do I seek after GOD, in Deuteronomy 4: 29 GOD’S word speaks about seeking GOD with your Whole heart and soul, and again in Jeremiah 29:13, seeking GOD with you whole heart.

So, what does it mean with your whole heart? I believe it means if you want to find GOD, and what he wants for your life, it means you can’t do it halfheartedly. You can’t’ do it sometimes, and then be lazy about it other times; GOD wants to be found.

But GOD doesn’t want a casual relationship. HE wants all of you, so he can give you the peace you seek, so he can bless you beyond measure.  The word of GOD states in Matthew 6, Seek the KINGDOM OF GOD FIRST, and all other things will be added unto you, food to eat, clothes to wear, a place to live.

GOD isn’t talking a once-a-week time for you to seek him; HE IS talking everyday spending time seeking him for the answers and the things you need. Psalms 105:4 says we should Always seek GOD.
