Potter-Dix's Lady Coyote Volleyball team, coming off an 11-and-18 record last season, opened strong with three wins over the week. Potter-Dix started their season on Thursday with a triangular at home, and defeated the Minatare Lady Indians in straight sets, and then defeated the Leyton Lady Warriors 2-to-1. Potter-Dix capped the week with another victory over the Lady Indians in Minatare on Friday in two straight sets.
On Thursday, the Lady Coyotes started against Minatare, and hit well and stayed in system for most of the match, putting down the Lady Indians 25-to-16, 25-to-17 and 25-to-15 for the 3-to-0 win. In the second match, after dropping the first set to Leyton 25-to-22, the Lady Coyotes came back to take the next two sets 25-to-21 and 25-to-19 for the 2-to-1 match victory. Friday's match up against Minatare was similar to the match on Thursday, with Potter-Dix easily taking the match 25-to-14 and 25-to-12.
Potter-Dix next hosts Crawford in Potter on Friday.
