Get set for a busy weekend as downtown Sidney will have its first Downtown Sounds concert of the season, Gold Rush Days will set up camp and bullfighting.
The weekend kicks off with Luke Mills and Dylan Bloom taking the stage Friday night at Hickory Street Square. Luke Mills has entertained the Sidney community previously. This is Dylan Bloom's first time on stage in Sidney. The event will include a variety of food and drink vendors including Sam & Louie's for beer, Oktoberfest, Vinny's, Kusina Boondocks and possibly more.
The event starts at 6 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Bring a chair and enjoy the concert, local food and a night downtown.
Saturday, June 11, will be packed with entertainment and history relived as Gold Rush Days gets busy. The day a breakfast for button holders, and a 5K run/walk at 9 a.m. The day will be filled with activities for children and adults.
