Brother, Sister Team Welcomed into Business World

While most teens and pre-teens are known for their social media interests, athletic curiosity and academics, a brother and sister team decided to start their own business.

They didn't do lawn care, although it is a commendable business. They reached high with apparent expectation of succeeding, and recently made a move forward.

On Dec. 21, the Cheyenne County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting at NexGen Outfitters, celebrating the apparel line by Brooklyn and Bodhi Brant. Brooklyn and Bodhi have their own designs, which compliment each other at the display. Brooklyn's is focused on the feminine side with leggings and related ware, while Bodhi has come up with shirt designs for the outdoorsman.

Bodhi said the idea started when watching his mom.

“I saw her selling stuff, and I always wanted my own brand,” Bodhi said.

Bodhi Brandt, 13, has been selling his line of outdoor apparel for about two years. His styles are more for the hunting and for fishing enthusiasts while his sister Brooklyn focuses on leggings and sports apparel for girls and women. They started selling in 2019 and are now available at NexGen Outfitters as well as online at BrandtPerformance.com
