Kathleen A. Hill, age 74, of Dalton, NE passed away at her home in Dalton on Thursday, November 25, 2021. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation has been held.

Kathleen was born on December 9th, 1946, to Virgil Oscar and Veronica Mary (Van Ness) Wells, in Sidney, NE. Kathleen attended Sidney High School and later earned her cosmetology license. Kathleen was the mother of three children Donny, Angela and Brandi. After several years of living in the southern part of the US, Kathleen returned to the area in the early 1990’s. Kathleen worked at Cabela’s returns center in Oshkosh, Cabela’s customer service in Sidney for several years and retired from Sandhills Publishing earlier this year. Kathleen had a love and passion for saving and caring for animals and loved her house plants. She was a very creative person and had a special eye for crafting. Kathleen loved her family, work friends and enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren.
Kathleen is survived by her children, son Donny and wife Korey Wells of Sidney, NE, daughter Angela and husband Bret Knickerbocker of Parker, CO, and daughter Brandi Hill of Des Moines, IA. Two brothers: Virgil Wells of Lincoln, NE and Jerry and wife Cyndi Wells of Van, TX. Five grandchildren: Meagan and husband Kyle Long, Terrin and husband Nate VanCura, Stephanie Sebold, and Kane and Aric Taylor. Two great grandchildren: Kylie and Lukas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, special friend John Whittle, granddaughter Danielle Belhmira and sister-in-law Karen Wells.
