The number 2 ranked D-6 Potter-Dix Coyotes remain unbeaten as they had no trouble defeating the visiting South Platte Blue Knights 70-to-6 on Homecoming Night in Potter on Friday. The winless Blue Knights fell behind quickly and had no answers against the Coyotes’ offense, as sophomore quarterback Brayden Kasten threw for four touchdowns and ended the game with a 163.2 quarterback rating. Junior Luke Kasten also added a 34 yard touchdown pass.
The Coyotes had two runners rush for over 100 yards, Luke Kasten with 102 yards on four carries and sophomore Jaxon Buettenback with 103 yards on 11 carries. Luke Kasten had six tackles for loss and 12 overall tackles to lead the defense. Senior Thomas Muldoon was crowned Homecoming King and also intercepted a pass in the victory. 5-and-0 Potter-Dix faces a challenge on Friday night as they host the 4-and-1 Hay Springs Hawks at Combs Field in Potter.
