Nebraska Arts Council Executive Director Suzanne Wise commented, “High Plains Arts Council contributes a great deal to the advancement of the arts in Sidney and the surrounding communities. We commend the work being done by organizations such as the High Plains Arts Council because the arts are important to the education and quality of life for all Nebraskans.”

Sidney HPAC president, Carrie Brown commented, “We are very excited about this year’s season, especially after last year and all the COVID cancellations. Now more than ever, we need to get out and enjoy an evening of entertainment with friends and family.” The season will start with William Florian’s Neil Diamond tribute on Sunday, September 12th followed by Scarborough Fair on October 6th. Our newest addition to our stage will be on Tuesday, November 9, Chicago Dance Crash then a Christmas performance by local Christopher Gutierrez on December 19th. Missoula Children’s Theatre will be back in Sidney on February 5 and the Gulizia Brothers on March 11. The season will end with the World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra on Father’s Day, June 19.

“We have a hard working board of volunteers that embraces making rural living the best kind of living with their dedication to bringing these fabulous performances to our community,” said Carrie Brown. If you would like to become a part of this amazing group, please call or text 308-250-1065.

“We are honored to have received this grant from Nebraska Arts Council. We would not be able to provide these performances and many outreach opportunities without their support along with the support of our fabulous community,” stated Brown.
