The Sidney High School Athletics is hosting a day of fun and fundraising Saturday, Aug. 21.
The day starts with a 5k and 1 mile Fun Run and Pancake Feed at Sidney High School. Cost is $30 and includes an event t-shirt and a free concert ticket.
At 10 a.m., golfers are invited to meet at Hillside Golf Course. Entry fee is $75 per person, $50 for members, and includes an event t-shirt and free concert ticket.
At noon, the atmosphere changes a little with the Food Truck Festival at Hickory Street Square in downtown Sidney. There will be a variety of food vendors and yard games until 10 p.m. Family Night is from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will be yard games and activities for kids of all ages at Hickory Street Square.
At 6:30 p.m., the atmosphere takes on a bit of an adult theme with a beer garden and street dance at Hickory Street Square. The venue will include live music by Judd Hoos. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students (5 years and younger are free). Beer and wine will be provided by Sam & Louie's, The Rock and Beans & Steams Coffee House.
