Dianne E. Namuth, age 85, of Sidney, NE went to be with her Savior on Thursday, July 8, 2021. Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Event Center at 1212 10th Avenue, on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 1-6:00 P.M. to sign Dianne’s register book and leave condolences for the family. Family will be present from 3-6:00 P.M. The family encourages everyone to leave a memory in her book of memories. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in care of the family for designation at a later date.

Dianne Elaine, the eldest daughter of Eli “Earl” Blue and Elsie (Wilder) Blue, was born July 17, 1935 at Omaha, NE. The family moved to the Ovid, CO area when Dianne was 2 years old. She attended Ovid schools and graduated from Ovid High School in 1953.
Dianne met Duane Namuth through mutual friends. Dianne and Duane were united in marriage on June 12, 1960 in Julesburg, CO. They made their home in Sunol, NE until moving to Sidney, Nebraska in March of 1963. Dianne and Duane became a family of four with the births of their daughter Kristi and son Kevin.
Dianne’s love of children inspired her to run an in-home daycare for many years. She was also the neighborhood caretaker providing rides, mowing yards, caring for pets, bringing in trash cans and in general helping overall. Her hobbies included being an avid bowler. She could be found at Cedar Lanes several evenings a week either bowling or keeping score for other leagues and was also a youth bowling coach. Dianne enjoyed crafts, sewing, crocheting, canning and making her famous peanut brittle at Christmas. Dianne and Duane were members of the local camping group and enjoyed their fifth wheel camper.
Dianne’s attention was focused on her grandchildren as they arrived. She was passionate about following them in their adventures and interests. She was always their number one fan and proud of their accomplishments.
Dianne was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her two children: Kristi Namuth of Sidney, Nebraska; Kevin Namuth and wife LaDonna of Sidney, NE; two grandchildren: Delanie Namuth and Jayce Namuth both of Sidney, NE. Brother Neil and wife Joyce Blue of Ovid, CO; sister Jeanine and husband LeRoy Batt of Pine Bluffs, WY; brothers-in-law: Ronald and wife Paige Namuth of Estes Park, CO and Kenneth and wife Carolyn Namuth of Sterling, CO as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and extended family.
Dianne was preceded in death by her husband Duane, parents, parents-in-law, brothers Kenneth and wife Mabel Blue, Duane and wife Geri Blue and Keith Blue; sister Sheryl Craghead and sister-in-law Margean Namuth.
