Serving proudly since 1873 as the beautiful Nebraska Panhandle's first newspaper
Janice and Faye Rostvit, identical twins from Colorado Springs, Colo., will share in song and testimony at 10:30 a.m. May 23 at the Church of the Nazarene, 1445 Jackson St, Sidney.
For more than 40 years the Rostvit Twins have had an extensive world-wide music ministry. Often they would be overseas for six months of each year and singing in churches in the USA the other months. Their travels have taken them to over 90 countries where they always learned a repertoire of songs in the local languages. To date they have sung in 120 languages.
The twins have composed many of their own songs which are available on CDs and in songbooks.
The Rostvits have also published two books: • TWIN REFLECTIONS tells of God’s providential care amid their international travels - tales of adventure and amazing accounts of answers to prayer; TWIN’S ADVENTURES in AFRICA shares interesting, scary, or funny incidents, or lessons God has taught them through their extensive journeys to African countries.
WILDERNESS HOMESTEAD – The twins will also have with them an historic book authored by their mother and aunt telling about their childhood years on the homestead in the frigid wilderness of northern Minnesota.
“We are eager to come and share the love of our Lord Jesus with you all. We no longer have the busy schedule we had for many years, but we love to sing and share wherever the Lord opens doors of opportunity. We just want to honor and glorify His name through music. “I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples. I will sing to You among the nations.” (Ps. 57:9)
