Veterans Job Fair Changes Format

The Nebraska Department of Labor is hosting our third Veteran Job Fair.

In response to COVID-19 considerations, the Veteran Job Fair is changing format from a traditional room full of employers job fair model to a no-contact model, where the employers provide us with their hiring information and we provide interested Veterans with a package of relevant and current employment opportunity information.

The Nebraska Department of Labor is assembling 35 HR packets and Veterans who are interested can contact Alan “A.J.” Trook, Worforce Coordinator and Veterans Career Coach, directly to set up a time to to pick up a packet at the NDOL office in Scottsbluff.

If you’re working with a Veteran who needs employment assistance, be sure to let them know about this opportunity. Veterans can also receive help from Trook and the NDOL staff with resumes, cover letters, and the nitty-gritty of job searching and interviewing.
