A Nation in Turmoil

Our nation is in the middle of a turmoil. We have a pandemic going on, we have an election coming up, we have rioting going on in a number of places, we have wrongs that need to be righted, So how do we get through all this?

2 Chronicles 7:14 states “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and heal their land.”

Our land is in NEED of healing; physical from this pandemic (which is causing a lot of fear and confusion). We need healing from all the hate and anger that is happening around our country. We need healing spiritually, in our churches, because the love of many has grown cold, and people are weary.

We need healing in our politics. We should be able to have a civil discourse, without coming away hating one another.

So, God’s people, we need to humble ourselves and pray, and seek God’s face, and turn from our wicked ways, because God is true to his word, and if there is any hope for this country, it is in God. He is the only one who is able to heal across the board every area of our lives.

God is the only one who never changes, and he wants to heal our land. I know it sounds very simple, but it’s the only way things are going to change, and it really is that simple.
