Predicting things is something I’m pretty good at. Today I hope I’m wrong. But unless President Trump puts down his tweet phone and surrounds himself with some competent campaign staffers, the people we see smashing things in the streets and toppling statues will be in control of the nation come January. Here’s why.
An agenda-driven media in cahoots with wealthy globalist progressives in business and an out-of-control socialist academia have greased the skids for America’s slide into chaos. You’ll see a complex series of events involving Covid-19, economic chaos, horrific civil unrest and violence, and savage political division in the U.S. team with a full-court press for climate change abroad and brinkmanship from wannabe global players to “reshape” or “reform” the American experiment. Here’s how it will play out.
Covid-19 will make a comeback with an alarming increase in “cases” in spite of the fact that some states are reporting mere presence of antibodies and asymptomatic positives so it seems the medical system will be overwhelmed. Lockdowns will return and with them more layoffs, suspension of public school starts in the fall and a new wave of job losses. Never mind the blow this will bring to morale and mental health. Parents will struggle to make ends meet while deciding which career gets sacrificed to homeschool.
Expect widespread riots if there’s an acquittal in either of two high-profile cases where white police officers are charged with the murder of black suspects. One involves the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis and the other the shooting of Rayshard Brooks in Atlanta. Expect evidence you’ve not yet heard to come out at both of these trials. When it does, remember it only takes one juror not to be convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that these cases were murder for acquittals to result. What do you think will happen in the streets of America if that happens in, oh I don’t know, say October?
How are we to conduct a free and fair election if the population is scared to death to leave home, be it for fear of Covid-19 or unrest in the streets? Look for key states to approve vote-by-mail, a system known for the simplicity by which it can be corrupted and manipulated. This means whoever wins in November will face accusations of election fraud, delegitimizing the whole process in the minds of voters.
By now you’re regretting having read this column today. Fear not. Even if all of this happens, and I pray it doesn’t, there are things we all can do to lessen its impact.
First, evaluate your life. Right any wrongs that come to mind. Seek forgiveness, restore relationships. You’ll need them.
Build a support network of friends and relatives. For some this might be a church congregation or civic group. We’ll all need people to lean on as we go through this.
Third, get right with God. Looking at what we’ve done with the freedom He gave us is embarrassing. But He forgives.
Finally, for the love of all that’s good and holy, don’t be stupid.
