Minerva M. Fry, 84, of Kimball, died at the Kim ball County Manor on Thursday, November 14, 2019. Cremation has been held and memorial services will be held at a later date. The arrangements for Minerva have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.
Minerva Mae Fry was born in Kersey, Colorado on May 16, 1935, the daughter of Cecil and Wuanita (Lindsey) Jenkins. She attended school in Kersey and graduated in 1953. Minerva was married to Homer Fry on May 25, 1956 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She lived in Potter and worked as a mail carrier for the US Post Office, she was also a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. Minerva enjoyed letter writing and would send letters to family and friends when she was unable to spend time with them. She also enjoyed crocheting and doing bead work, she enjoyed sharing her crafts with family and friends. She was an animal lover and had many pets throughout her life. The time spent with her grandchildren is one of her most treasured memories.
Survivors include her son Mark (Christy) Fry of Potter, NE; daughter Colleen Hill of Cheyenne, WY; brother Ben (Wilma) Lindsey of Haxtun, CO; niece Jo Bixler of Greeley, CO; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son David and brothers Clark, Bob, Larry and Charles.
