The Panhandle Senior Women’s Golf Association held an event on Monday July 29 at Rolling Hills Golf Course in Morrill. 39 ladies participated in the outing, and had beautiful weather and perfect course conditions to enjoy during the tournament. The PSWGA expressed their appreciation for Skip and his crew who made sure the course at Rolling Hills was in prime condition for the event, and the ladies were treated to a delicious lunch featuring Mac’s Gourmet BBQ and Wood Fired Pizza, while Kent McLellan and his wife provided pulled pork sandwiches and salads.
The results were tallied after the outing, with the top teams placing as follows:
Fourth Place: Gail Majers, Terry Grosz, Jane Holechek and Jan Martin with a 75 gross/63.19 net.
Third Place: Jill Lens, Penny Yekel, Sue Bringelson and Sylvia DeBus with a 77 gross/62.89 net.
Second Place: Becky Mikel, Dee Lewis, Audren Nelson and Key Heggum with a 76 gross/61.90 net.
First Place: Gina Briggs, Lynn Schukei, and Pam Adams with a 72 gross/58.93 net.
The next tournament is set for Hillside Golf Course in Sidney on August 12. All members are reminded to contact Connie Booth at 308-631-7613 or sign up for the tournament online at the PSWGA website no later than August 7.
