Chip Seal Operations Underway

The City of Sidney Street Department will be conducting chip seal operations through July 11, weather permitting.

The Street Department will be doing the final preparation for chip sealing this week through July 5. Chip sealing is expected to be conducted July 9-11. All vehicles, trailers and campers must be removed from streets prior to 6 a.m. Each morning to avoid being towed at the owner’s expense. The streets will be blocked off on the day of the chip sealing application.

The Street Department will be preparing for and sealing the following operations:

Beverly Road. from Charlotte Drive to Deborah Drive

Charlotte Drive. from Keller Drive to Keller Drive

Deborah Drive. from Beverly Road to Deborah Drive

Deborah Drive from RR Tracks to Beverly Road

Keller Drive. from concrete to Charlotte Drive

Lucille Lane. from Charlotte

Charlotte Drive Cul-De-Sac

5th Avenue from Illinois St. to Linden Street

6th Avenue from Illinois St. to the dead end

7th Avenue from Illinois St. to Maple Street

8th Avenue from Illinois St. to King Street

9th Avenue from Illinois St. to Newton Street

East Elm Street from Greenwood Rd. to 10th Ave.

Maple Street from 13th Ave. to 14th Ave.

Newton Street 2300 block from Concrete to 184’ east of Concrete

King Street 7th Ave. to 9th Ave.

King Street 10th Ave. to 13th Ave.

King Street 16th Ave. to 19th Ave.
