The City of Sidney and Cheyenne County Economic Development Partnership are pleased to announce Sidney will be the host community for the 2020 Nebraska Economic Developers Association (NEDA) conference. The conference brings together economic development professionals from across Nebraska. Dates and additional details will be determined in the upcoming months.
Melissa Norgard, Economic Development Director, presented to the board of directors at the 2019 NEDA Conference in Wayne on June 12th, and Sidney was selected as the host community. “We are excited to host the NEDA conference in 2020 and showcase all of the great things happening in Sidney and Western Nebraska,” said Norgard.
NEDA is an association of more than 250 professional economic developers dedicated to strengthening economic development in the state of Nebraska through the education and professional development of its members. NEDA supports the economic growth of Nebraska, and the membership works together to develop strategies and focuses on advocacy to promote a positive business climate in our state.
