William R. 'Bill' Saali - Obituary

William R. “Bill” Saali, age 64 of Sidney, NE passed away in Loveland, CO on Thursday, February 14, 2019.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, February 28th in the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel. Inurnment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. William Robert Saali, the son of Louis Anthony and Regina Mary (Hollenback) Saali, was born on February 13, 1955 in Sidney. He attended grade school at St. Patrick’s and graduated from Sidney High School in 1974. William was united in marriage to Catherine Jung on July 19, 1975 in Sidney. Two children were born to this union, Daniel and Tracy.

William worked at Pfizer for twenty-five years before retiring. He enjoyed snowmobiling in the mountains and was an avid collector.

Survivors include his wife: Catherine; his children Daniel and Tracy all of Sidney; his mother-in-law: Ruby Jung of Potter; (1) brother: Larry Saali and wife Madeline of Tyler, TX and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

William was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law: Elmer Jung; (2) sisters, (3) brothers, (1) brother-in-law and (2) sisters-in-law.
