ACCIDENT REPORT

the following incidents were investigated by the cheyenne county sheriff’s office

JAN. 25: A Dalton woman escaped injury when the Jeep she was driving collided with a deer at 5:26 p.m.

Kathryn Benish, 34, of Dalton, was driving a 2011 Jeep on Cheyenne County Road 58 when she observed a deer on the left side of the road. She was slowing the vehicle when she noticed another group of deer crossing the road from right to left. The right front of the Jeep collided with a large doe, resulting in an estimated $2,000 damage to the Jeep.
