Retired Fire Chief Honored

Pictured are Keith Stone, left, receiving a plaque for his service, from Mayor Roger Gallaway. Stone was honored at the City of Sidney 2018 Awards Banquet Friday evening. Stone retired in 2018 as fire chief with the Sidney Volunteer Fire Department after 32 years of service. He served as chief from 1986 to 2018. He has been with the Fire Department for 48 years and still serves as a volunteer firefighter.
