Why did you choose to run for office? To make a difference. Our work holds offenders accountable. And we stand up for victim rights.

What skills do you have that you will bring to the office? Cheyenne County Attorney for 23 years. Interim Deuel County Attorney for two years; Serve as Special Acting County Attorney in Western Nebraska; Member, Board of Directors, Nebraska County Attorneys Association; Member, Board of Directors, CAPstone Child Advocacy Center of Western Nebraska.

What do you hope to accomplish if elected? Keep holding serious offenders responsible; Maintain coordination among law enforcement officials to keep our community safe; Continue to work with the schools to promote successful programs that keep students involved in school and drug-free; Sustain administrative efficiency in office management.

What are some challenges you hope to overcome? We stand ready to address any change that could jeopardize public safety.

What are the most important issues to be addressed by your office? Continue to effectively prosecute crimes of violence and drug offenses. All attorneys in the office receive training in prosecuting these cases. And the Nebraska Attorney General's Office and the United States Attorney's Office are important allies in this area; We will keep searching for grant funding opportunities to defray office costs. Currently, we receive thousands of dollars in grant aid to support our juvenile delinquency and truancy prevention programs.
