Creek Valley Falls to Eustis-Farnam On Road

Creek Valley’s Storm football team took the long trip to Eustis-Farnam for its’ first game of the season, and ended up on the losing side of a 69-39 final score.

The game started well for the Storm as they scored first and were able to build a 20-to-6 lead against the Knights, but they were unable to hold off the home team’s offensive power in the second quarter, finding themselves outscored 30-to-7 and facing a 36-to-27 deficit at halftime.

Creek Valley’s chances for a victory were dashed by the end of the third quarter, however, as the Knights put up 20 points in the quarter against the Storm’s 6, extending the home team’s lead to 56-to-36.

The Storm were able to score one more touchdown in the fourth quarter, ending the game on the wrong side of a 69-to-39 final score. Creek Valley junior Patrick Hansen had an outstanding game in the loss, playing solid football for the entire contest and scoring three touchdowns for the Storm.

Creek Valley gets the chance to even up their season as they face the Hay Springs Hawks on Friday at 4pm in their season opener. The high-powered Hawks come into the game with a 1-and-0 record after defeating Potter-Dix in their first game of the season.
