Community Volleyball, Flag Football Registration Underway

The Cheyenne County Community Center would like to remind residents of upcoming sports registration periods for youth volleyball and flag football.

For volleyball, the Volleyball Fundamental Camp registration will be open between August 4 through August 20.

Cost is $20 per participant, and the camp starts on August 22.

Note CoNe Registration (Colorado and Nebraska) is open, but practice will start after Labor Day. CoNe will be for 5th and 6th grades only and will start after Labor Day also.

This is a travel league and participants must attend the camp in order to play in the league.

Third and 4th graders meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 3:30 pm – 4:30pm.

Fifth and 6th graders meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Flag Football will be open to first through fourth graders, divided into groups of grades 1-2 and grades 3-4.

The registration period runs through August 17.

Games are played Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting at 5:45 pm at the Softball Fields.

The first game is on September 11 and the last game is October 4.

Cost is $30 per participant; $40 Late fee after August 11.

Coaches will have their first meeting on August 22 at 6:30pm.
