Carole L. White

Carole L. White, 76, of Maxwell, formerly of Sidney, went peacefully to her eternal home on May 25, 2018.

Carole L. Thomas was born in Sidney, and graduated from Sidney High School class of 1960.

Carole resided in Lincoln, Brown Deer, Wisconsin, and Maxwell, throughout her 50 years of marriage. Carole was the daughter of Leo and Wilma Thomas. Sister to Kay Koos (Dave) and Ann Holloran (Steve). She was married to James White, together they had eight children.

Carole was hard working and loved to serve people. She always found a way to smile through the ups and downs of life.

Carole had a cleaning business for 35 years, volunteered at church and in her community. After retiring, she volunteered her time and lived at Maranatha Bible Camp where she loved to serve the campers, interact with staff, and entertain friends and family in her home.

Carole is remembered for her love for family and friends, but most importantly her relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son, Rex.

She is survived by her sisters; sons, Rick (Bonnie) White, David (Nancy) White , J.J. (DeAnna) White; daughters, LeAnn (Jeff) Peterman, Cindy White, Jackie (Mike) Kaminski, Joy (Corey) Roeder; and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family ask that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to Carole's SS Project, c/o Maranatha Bible Camp, 16800 E. Maranatha Road, Maxwell, NE 69151

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 8, at the Maxwell Baptist Church.
