This year’s show includes watercolor, oil, acrylic and mixed media artworks. Our members hold membership in the Association of Nebraska Art Clubs. The show is juried, with the top artists sending their pieces for judging, to the state show, held in Scottsbluff this year. Many of our members have received top honors for their art, and have been selected for the state traveling show. The judge this year is Marcia Bauerle, a collage artist from Imperial.
Everyone who loves art is welcome to join the Guild. The Cheyenne County Artist Guild is always looking for new members. The mission of the Guild is to provide art to the community. The Guild has a yearly schedule, and provides an art experience every month. The Guild has sponsored several workshops this year to include open
studio days on Saturdays, workshops in watercolor and oil painting, field trips to art events, plein aire painting outings, and our local art show. The group is on Facebook under Cheyenne County Art Guild.
The Cheyenne County Artist Guild has been offering art to the community for 47 years. This year the show is dedicated to Hank Jessen, Muriel Glanz, and Kay Borgens, all who loved art and spent many active years in the Guild.
Their art will be on display during the show.
