Linda Lee Rogers, age 69 of Sidney, NE passed away at Sidney Regional Medical Center,
Monday evening, February 5, 2018. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday February 12th, in the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Corey Jenkins officiating. Linda Lee Kleinert-Rogers, the daughter of Helen L. and Clarence E. Kleinert, was born January 25, 1949 at Sidney. She attended school in Sidney graduating with Class of 1967. She went to work for Cabela's in Sidney, retiring after 34 years.
On April 7, 1973 Linda was united in marriage with Ronald Eugene Rogers in the United Methodist Church in Sidney. To this union a daughter was born, Traci Lee Rogers-Heitman.
She also has a son from a previous marriage Guy Lee Johnson. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, listening to a variety of music and being involved in the Veterans program in Scottsbluff. Linda was a member of Sidney Elks Lodge Does #1894, Sidney, NE for 36 years working alongside special friends: Susan Starr, Terri Poley, Doyle and Charlotte Sanders, Dale and Bonita
Dickinson, Jack (Edna) Bruns, Norma (Roy) Call, John and Linda Harris and Dennis Heitman.
Survivors include Sister: Debra Barnett of Las Vegas, NV, Daughter: Traci Rogers-Heitman and fiancé Jeff Harris of Potter, NE, and son Guy Johnson of Sidney, NE, Sister in Law: Norma Rogers of Sidney, NE, and Brother in Law: Wayne Hendricks of Redondo Beach, CA. Grandchildren: Maranda Heitman and fiancé Cody Seals of Kearney, NE, Dakota Heitman, Brady Heitman, and Kobe Heitman all of Coleridge, NE, Ashley Dowler and husband Brian of Sterling, CO, Cody Johnson of Sidney, NE, Lisa Heyen and wife Julie of Seward, NE, Scotti Shelton of Ft. Lupton, CO, Craig Rogers and fiancé Brittany Vance of Council Bluffs, IA, Jacob Rogers and wife Kelcie of Ord, NE. Great grandchildren: Dakota, Aaliyah and Raiden Seals, Talon and Jaycee Dowler, Jaycee, Micha and Raven Hayen, Dante, Rhyley, and Memphis Shelton, Avery, Aiden and Millie Rogers and Hudson Rogers.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Rogers, her parents Helen and Clarence Kleinert, sisters: Virginia Garrison and Sharron Little, brother in law James Rogers, sisters in law: Joyce Hendricks, Reta Farren, and Lavon and Don Kintz.
