The Peetz Bulldogs dominated the Pawnee Coyotes 75-47 in a home conference game on December 8th. Three Bulldogs scored in double digits and a solid defensive effort let Peetz coast to an easy victory at home and stay undefeated during the early part of the season.
Peetz senior Logan Sircy led the Bulldogs with 23 points, senior Jake Curlee scored 17, and junior Bryson Long added 13 as the Bulldogs started strong and did not let up against the Coyotes.
Outscored 13-7 in the first quarter, Pawnee tried to adjust to the Bulldogs scheme with little effect; the Coyotes headed to halftime down 32-16. Pawnee upped their intensity in the third quarter and managed to keep pace with Peetz’s scoring, but by the 4th quarter the Bulldogs experience and depth put the game out of reach.
With the loss, Pawnee fell to 1-3 overall this season and next hosts Lone Star on Dec. 15. Peetz improved to 4-0 overall this season and next travels to Haxtun on Dec 12.
