Hope Was Born On Christmas Morning

Hope defined: A favorable and confident expectation.

We live in a current world that is Chaotic at best, what used to be right seems to be wrong, and what has always been wrong, all of a sudden has become right.

There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason, and people seemed only concerned with themselves.

Isaiah 9, gives us reason for HOPE. The Word of GOD declares the Messiah (JESUS) would be born, and would give GOD’s people a reason for hope and confidence.

The Messiah (Jesus) would bring Light to a dark and Hopeless world, that he would bring Joy, and would lift the burdens from GOD’s people.

God promised he would give his people a SON, and the Government would be on HIS shoulders, His name would be called WONDERFUL COUNSELOR, MIGHTY GOD, EVERLASTING FATHER, PRINCE OF PEACE (SHALOM, completeness, wholeness Perfect Peace) and there would no end to the increase of his government and Peace that only he can give. His throne would be established and upheld with justice and righteousness forevermore (Heaven)

So, what does this Prophesy mean to us, It means that in this uncertain world we who Know the Messiah (JESUS) have reason for HOPE, JOY, and PEACE.

We who know the Messiah have a Blessed Assurance that no matter what happens in society our hope is in someone GREATER who NEVER changes.

During this season of HOPE let’s turn or focus to the one who gives us HOPE, JOY and PEACE, Let’s think of others instead of ourselves.

Lets make this a Joyful and Merry time of year, and let’s carry that same confidence into the next year.

Only GOD knows what the next year will bring, so put your HOPE and Trust in HIM.
