LINCOLN - The Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) is looking for the next class of recruits to join the ranks as Nebraska State Troopers. Applications for the 2017 Sworn Officer Selection Process are now available. Get your application submitted now for consideration to be a part of the 59th Basic Recruit Camp scheduled to begin on May 6, 2018.

The Nebraska State Patrol offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits. During camp, recruits receive $39,659 annually. Upon graduation, sworn members receive a starting salary of $46,092. Our benefits package includes paid vacation and sick leave, medical insurance, life insurance, and full retirement benefits.

Applicants must be a United States citizen and 21 years of age by October 5, 2018, when they take the Oath of Office. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalence.
