Table of Grace, a food pantry serving the area, could be forced to halt some of its services if things don't change soon.
The program, which sometimes provides food to 100 families in Sidney alone, has announced that beginning in January, service to Chappell and Lodgepole, and to Western Heritage and the Cheyenne County Congregate Meal Program.
Table of Grace leadership is also reviewing options for possible reorganization so it can continue pantry services in Sidney, Potter, Dalton and Oshkosh.
Program coordinator Timm Lindeman said Table of Grace services could potentially remain in place. To do that, volunteers are needed to help order, pick up and distribute food.
Those interested in helping the program continue should contact Lindeman at 249-6653.
