Chamber Christmas Dollars are here

The Cheyenne County Chamber of Commerce urges residents to shop Sidney and save through the Chamber Christmas Dollars program. With Christmas Dollars, Chamber officials say a generous Christmas doesn’t have to depend on high-rate credit cards for holiday purchases when you can use Chamber Christmas Dollars at six months with no interst.

The Chamber of Commerce, along with four participating lenders (American Bank, Points West Community Bank, Sidney Federal Savings and Loan, and Security First Bank) and Chamber member businesses are participating in the Program, which provides shoppers an opportunity to consolidate their holiday purchases into one payment.

The banks offer the option of borrowing $100 to $900 per family in Chamber Christmas Dollars at 0% interest for six months, to qualified borrowers. The program, which began earlier this week, runs through December 24.

“This is a great way to support our local businesses,” said Bev Arellano. “We appreciate the participation of our local businesses, who make it easier for shoppers in Sidney.”
