Mabel C. Hoffman, age 88 of Sidney, NE passed away at her home, Friday, September 8, 2017.
Cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held at a later date. No formal services are planned at this time. Memorial contributions may be made in Mabel’s name to the donor’s choice. Mabel was born on April 8, 1929 to Joseph and Elsie (Javorsky) Neuman in Wilber, NE. She graduated from Wilber High School in 1947. Mabel worked for a lawyer and then a Judge in the Wilber Court House until 1950. On May 21, 1950 Mabel married Don Hoffman. They lived in Lincoln until 1965 when they moved to Sidney.
Mabel is survived by her children: Deryl of Sidney and Connie and partner Dwight Schreinert of Dalton; sister: Helen Zlab of Wilber; brother-in-law: Kenny Neihart of Lincoln and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Don; brother: Clarence Neuman; sister: Laura Neihart; brother-in-law: Dennis Zlab and nephew: Scott Zlab.
