Potter-Dix fared well against larger teams and schools at the Burns Invite, bringing home a hand full of first place medals in the process.
Trinity Langley, Payge Hoffman and Alexus Rozelle paced the Lady Coyotes to fourth place. Langley was a double event winner, taking the crown in both the high jump and triple jump. Langley cleared 4-feet, 10-inches in the high jump, then went 33-feet, 6-inches in the triple jump.
Hoffman jumped 15-feet, 2-1/4-inches in the long jump, while Rozelle bested all discus throwers with her 117-foot, 4-1/2-inch toss.
All three were members of the Potter-Dix 4x100 relay team, which finished fourth, while Hoffman and Langley were on the fourth place 4x400 relay.
Tyrus Gawith led the boys team, finishing second in the pole vault at 11-feet, 6-inches, and sixth at 100 meters with a time of 11.95 seconds.
