Stubble field burns

A stubble field near Scoular Grain north of Sidney was filled with tall flames Wednesday afternoon after sparks from a locomotive moving rail cars fell into dry grass. The Sidney Volunteer Fire Department quickly contained the fire before it got to grain company buildings.
