FORT MORGAN, Colo. - Second time was a charm for Sidney's Mitch Porter and the Raiders Friday as they won an overtime thriller on a last second shot.
With 22 seconds remaining in regulation and the score tied at 50, Porter got the ball for a late shot. Under pressure, he dished the ball off and time ran out before the Raiders could convert.
Fort Morgan got the Raiders down by four points late in the overtime, but an Eric Doty three pointer, followed by a steal and score by Porter on the ensuing in bound pass put the Raiders up by one point with :40 left.
The Mustangs knotted the score, then with :20 showing on the clock, Porter again got the call from Coach Austin Lewis.
