ALLIANCE – Sidney's Lady Raiders did exactly what they needed to give themselves every advantage possible entering district play, at the same time toppling a nemesis from the north at just the right time.
Chadron and Sidney have battled back and forth this season, with Chadron holding a 3-1 edge entering Saturday's tournament in Alliance.
But that record didn't deter the Lady Raiders as they entered the final, ferociously attacking the Lady Cardinals from the onset, controlling the match from the first whistle.
