Donald Dean "Don" Madden, 63, of Grand Island died on Thursday, October 6, 2016.
A memorial service celebrating Don's life will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 13, at All Faiths Funeral Home. Daniel Naranjo will officiate.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 1 p.m. until service time.
Don was born February 3, 1953 in Sidney, NE, to Karl and Sally Mae (Swenson) Madden. He graduated from Potter High School, Class of 1972. On October 17, 2000, Don was married to his best friend, Mary Margaret Bray.
A workaholic with entrepreneurial tendencies, Don loved his employment as fleet manager of transportation for Bosselman Energy Inc. of Grand Island. He enjoyed traveling and working in his yard, and especially loved hanging out with his grandchildren.
His surviving family include his wife; children, Jodi Bartling (Jason) of Omaha, Nickole Michalski (Karl) of Shelton, Marty Madden (Tara) of Kearney, Andrew Bracy of Ames, IA and Owen Madden of Grand Island; seven grandchildren, Allison, Gavin, Tyler, Cosette, Ryleigh, Camilla and Norah; brother, Karl Madden (Jean) of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Sadonna Johnson (Kris) of Sidney; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
