Jean Taylor, 77 of Sidney, and former Denver, CO area resident, passed away at the Sidney Regional Medical Center, Wednesday, September 28, 2016.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 7 in the Sidney Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Doug Birky officiating. Services will conclude at the church. Inurnment will take place in the Mt. Lindo Cemetery near Morrison, CO. Memorial contributions may be made in Jean's name to the Evangelical Free Church. Gehrig-Stitt Chapel & Cremation Service, LLC is in charge of Jean's care and funeral arrangements.
Thelma Jean Taylor, the daughter of Milton Owen and Lenora Elizabeth (Cooper) Walters, was born on November 27, 1938 at Batesville, MS. On June 17, 1978 Jean was united in marriage to Fred Howard Taylor. They have been married for more than thirty-eight years. Jean retired following many successful and accomplished years with the federal government. They moved from Denver to Sidney in the last couple of years to be closer to their family.
Survivors include her husband: Fred of Sidney; daughter: Sandy Taylor of Lodgepole; grandchildren: Jennifer Swayze and husband Michael of Sidney; great-grandchildren: James and Elizabeth Swayze and numerous extended family members and friends.
