Sidney placed multiple runners in the top 20 in both boys and girls varsity competition to finish high in both boys and girls team standings at the McCook Invite Thursday.
Four Sidney girls, led by Taighlor Arnett, finished in the top 20, finishing second as a team. Arnett ended the day in sixth place, traversing the course in 22:04.0.
Kara Birner was the second Sidney runner to cross the finish line, running a 22:58.0 for 12th place individually. Jolene Oliverius was 17th, and Charlie Brockhaus was 19th.
