Rodeo Queen Ashlyn Roelle and the Lady in Waiting, Carissa Radtke will represent Cheyenne County for 2016-2017.
To become rodeo royalty, it takes more than just a sparkly crown and an amazing wave. Roelle said the process takes quite a bit of practice.
Like all good royalty the process starts with a dress.
"We have to have a western dress for the judging competition," said Roelle. "There are a few requirements for the outfit, some of which include the cowboy hat and boots, and the belt buckle."
