Cabela's expands relationship with Quad/Graphics, new facility to open in August

Cabela’s Incorporated today announced plans to expand its relationship with printer and marketing services provider Quad/Graphics by transitioning creative services and offering personnel the opportunity to work at a new facility Quad/Graphics will open in Sidney, Neb., in early August.

Cabela’s has maintained a relationship with Quad/Graphics for printing and catalog distribution for more than 25 years. Under the expanded relationship, Quad/Graphics will have added responsibilities for Cabela’s creative service needs, including catalog and advertising designs, concepts, layouts, page production, photography, videography and more. Quad/Graphics expects to offer many current Cabela’s employees with relevant experience positions at its new Sidney facility. This expanded relationship will allow Cabela’s to utilize Quad/Graphics’ best-in-class practices and technologies in place of Cabela’s internal systems.

“Quad/Graphics has been a tremendous asset for Cabela’s for many years,” said Tommy Millner, Cabela’s Chief Executive Officer. “They are a forward-thinking company with an impressive history of innovation and success. We could not be more thrilled about this expanded relationship and the many opportunities it will bring to both Cabela’s and the Sidney community.”

“We are pleased to expand our long-standing relationship with Cabela’s – one of the world’s best-known outdoor recreation brands,” said Joel Quadracci, Quad/Graphics Chairman, President and CEO. “We look forward to sharing the knowledge we’ve gained over many years performing similar work for 20 other retailers. We are confident that we will help Cabela’s advance both the efficiency and effectiveness of its marketing spend through process optimization, robust creative and cross-channel marketing services, and more.”
