Coby Hicks was the valedictorian chosen from Potter-Dix school. In his speech Saturday he passed on advice from some wise second grade students and pre-schoolers.

"Noodles make everything better," said Hicks, reading from a letter of advice from preschooler at Potter-Dix to the graduating class of 2016.

Fifteen students received their diplomas Saturday, many graduating with scholarships. This year's salutatorian was Coby's cousin, Regyn Hicks. In her speech, she alphabetically spoke of the lessons her classmates have taught her through the years.

A large moon shape poster adorned the stage Saturday, written on the moon was the message "Don't tell me the sky is the limit when there are footprints on the moon." by Paul Brandt and this year's class motto.

The students from Potter-Dix graduating class of 2016 were Samuel Bogert, Cole Christiensen, Micaela Elliot, Sara Gingerich, Atoni Guy, Coby Hicks, Regyn Hicks, Austin Lewis, Courtney Leigh Lewis, Anna Mclaughlin, Justice Plamer, Kelsey Rozelle, Keverette Rusk, Savannah Show and Christina Straetker.
