Court Briefs: 05/13/2016

The following people appeared in Cheyenne County District Court on May 4, 2016 before the Honorable Derek Weimer:

Timothy Spires, 45 of Potter, appeared for arraignment on a charge of 2nd Degree Assault, DUI-Serious Bodily Injury and Child Abuse. A class IIA, IIIA and IIIA felony, respectively. Status hearing set for June 14 at 8:30 a.m.

Arikk Callahan, 18 of Sidney, appeared for sentencing on a charge of Violation of a Harassment Protection Order, class II misdemeanor. He received 13 days in jail with credit for those days and 12 months probation.

Christina Tucker, 19 of Lodgepole, appeared via counsel for a status hearing on a charge of Distribution of MJ and Attempted Distribution of MJ. A class III and IV felony respectively. Status hearing set for June 14 at 9:30 a.m.

Brandt Amlie, 33 of Roseville, Minn. appeared for arraignment on a charge of Possession of Hash. A class IV Felony. Pursuant to a plea agreement he pled guilty to an amended charge of Attempted Possession of Hash. A class I misdemeanor. He received $925 in fines.

Joshua Bowers, 24 of Sterling, Colo. appeared for arraignment on a charge of Strangulation and Possession of Meth. A class IIIA and IV felony; respectively. Pre-trial conference set for July 12 at 9:30 a.m. Jury Trial July 25 and July 26.

John Albertson, 56 of Oshkosh, appeared for status hearing on a charge of Possession of Meth. A class IV felony. Status hearing set for June 6 at 10:30 a.m. in Oshkosh.

Brian Everingim, 34 of Colorado, appeared for status hearing on a charge of Possession of Hash. A class IV felony. Pursuant to a plea agreement he pled guilty to an amended charge of Attempted Possession of Hash. A class I misdemeanor. He received a $750 fine.
